I believe "Learning How to Program Computers" and "Learning How to Live Google Free" both provide a variety of different standpoints on how the assignment can be viewed. Everybody gains something from being taught, the two men in these articles both taught themselves. both stories were unique and both writers had different methods of keeping the reader interested. Feross' story was more appealing to me because in his writing you could tell that he was passionate, and he also provided pictures of his websites that he programmed. He brought us through his story step by step from the first day he was inspired to start computer programming, all the way up to when he made his first hit program. He made his writing interesting making me want to read it and made it easy to stay attentive. "Learning How to Live Google Free" was more straight to the point and informational. it held a lot of facts and thoroughly explained his research method, but I found it difficult to stay attentive because he would describe so in depth about one thing, and I just wasn't interested. in conclusion, both of these articles have positive aspects on how to go about writing this essay, and taking both of their strengths will help provide a good template of how I would like to construct my paper.
